Why I am running for OHA Trustee Hawai’i Island
I firmly believe I will be a voice of a generation who must step into leadership roles with aloha, reason, and hope for all of Hawai’i. I will bring to the OHA Board Table- our people’s table- a gentle and quiet ‘ano (personality) that is committed to listening to all perspectives and working cooperatively with my fellow Trustees to solve our challenges and lift up opportunities (in housing, education, employment, health and economic development) to advance the basic everyday needs of our people. I believe in OHA’s Vision, Mission, Strategic Plan & Priorities and believe there is a strong foundation for success. For nearly two decades I have worked with communities across our islands on many complex issues. These experiences have prepared me to develop and implement policy and take on OHA’s oversight responsibilities, the tremendous kuleana required of a Trustee.
Mahalo nui former OHA Trustee Haunani Apoliona for your support.

I seek your support and vote for KEOLA LINDSEY to the open-position of Hawaiʻi Island Trustee, Office of Hawaiian Affairs…
Over the years I have been a member of many sports teams. Some of my strongest friendships to this day began with those I went to “battle” with. I have also had excellent coaches. True educators who emphasized the old saying there is no “I” in team (unless it is misspelled) and laid out the basic rules about what it meant to be a part of a given team and had a plan to achieve our goals.
