My parents are Benjamin (retired Kona Airport State Crash Rescue and current DHHL farmer) and Nancy Lindsey (Waimea Elementary Teacher’s Aide). I have two sisters: Marie and Lorianne. My wife Mahealani (nee Handley) and I have four sons. My daughter is in her first year of college.
I was raised in Waimea, Kohala on our 10-acre Pu’ukapu homestead with Mauna Kea standing proudly above us where the values and morals that I carry to this day- hard work, sacrifice, putting others before yourself, humility and honesty were impressed upon me. My family, parents and niece Lilly live on our DHHL house lot in Kawaihae.
