Aloha. I’m a transplant from Honolulu who moved to the Big Island 47 years ago. I’ve had the privilege of working and sailing with Ben Lindsey, Keola’s dad, I’ve always admired both men. I watched Keola grow up as a young man on his family’s homestead. I admire Keola for his honesty and loyalty to his family and community. And, being a loyal supporter of his culture and for never forgetting his ‘roots.’ Keola has always showed himself to being a humble person like his up bringing taught him and knowledgeable of his culture. I am proud to have Keola call me Uncle.
